Project Manager: full time
Salary: $35,000 – $50,000 (based on experience)

Hairpin is hiring a project manager to join our creative team. This position is crucial to the success, productivity and well-being of the agency. You will be the point person for both clients and the Hairpin team. You will be a part of all aspects of work from concept to completion. This critical role requires emotional intelligence, focus and a sense of humor in equal measures.

The Details:

  • Be the first line of contact between the Hairpin team and the world
  • Have a pulse on all of projects
  • Write posts for Hairpin’s social media feeds and marketing newsletter, and drive the company’s social media presence
  • Build trust and rapport with your teammates and clients
  • Create realistic deadlines for yourself and the team
  • Can manage client expectations
  • Create project schedules, calendars, to-dos
  • Keep schedule up-to-date by accounting for changes in project deliverables or plans
  • Review RFPs
  • Prepare, copy edit and proof new business proposals
  • Regularly check-ins with team on their progress
  • Participate in meetings from kick-off to launch. Help with agendas, note-taking and dissemination of information to team
  • Help source, schedule and manage talent (photographers, illustrators, cinematographers, developers, sound-recordists)
  • Have comfort using (or be willing to learn!): Harvest, Basecamp, Powerpoint, Microsoft Office, GoogleDocs
  • Help with writing and editing copy for marketing collateral, publicity materials and websites.
  • Help produce websites, videos and photo shoots
  • Research areas of focus and create team briefs
  • Assist team on branding, messaging and communications workshops and trainings

Graphic Design Intern 
Hourly: $20 hour

The Job:

  • Take part in designing and producing brand identity, digital media, print collateral, video, animation, interiors – from inception to final product.
  • Collaborate with our team and interface with clients.
  • Support our team in creating presentations, maintaining internal systems and researching creative projects.


  • Passionate about design and the user experience
  • Believe in social justice and the power of stories
  • Have proficiency Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc…)
  • A flexible thinker who can craft new designs and be ready to switch gears when priorities change
  • Interested in learning new tools and techniques
  • Have a background in design, filmmaking, or fine arts
